The 24th Annual Harlem Meer Performance Festival kicks off on June 18th at 2pm at the Charles A Dana Discovery Center, a beautiful restored pavilion at the northeast corner of Central Park, near 110th Street between Fifth and Lenox Avenues. The June 18th concert features Sonido Costeño Latin Fusion Salsa, a creative fusion of Latin music and salsa with other world music in an enticing, high-energy performance. Prepare to dance!
The Naumberg Bandshell in Central Park has been the location of outdoor summer concerts since 1905! This summer’s series opens on June 13 @ 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM with the Havana Lyceum Orchestra. The program features work by Mozart, Copland, and Carlos Fariñas.
Starting on June 4, our own West Side Community Garden will host weekly concerts on Sunday nights at 6 in the garden on 89th Street between Amsterdam and Columbus. See the lineup:
